What information do we collect?

We ask you to supply a unique nickname that is used to publicly identify you and your submissions to ZAT. In order to verify that you are a real person, you must supply a valid email address. We also collect other information that you supply to us, including information you enter into your profile.

We use your nickname to figure out what kinds of places you like, so we can suggest new places that you might enjoy. This is similar to the way online retailers like Amazon.com suggest books you might like, based on books you have purchased. We do this only to help you find information, and do not sell personally identifiable data to third parties.

Information you submit to ZAT, including comments and ratings, naturally becomes the property of ZAT so that other users can read it without restriction. By submitting information to ZAT, you are asserting that the information submitted is not copyrighted or restricted in any way.

If you see any information on ZAT that should not be there — either submitted by you by mistake, or submitted by someone else but owned by you — please let us know and we will remove it.
